At £150 a lamp too it’s forcing my customers to consider LED some of these are only a year old osram / radium deny there is an issue with them I’ve probably changed hundreds of these now over the years.

Hate to say it, but it might actually be worth considering tbh. There are some quite mature sports floods out there now. If you don't, somebody else will!

We have quoted a few for abacus but it’s like £30k the rugby club definatly don’t have that kind of money. I’ll keep noshing them up as long as they are happy for me to do so. I have quoted to replace 2 pitches for LED so far but nothing has come of it.

I’d say LED probably best for these unfortunately

Bit poor that, but I guess they have no incentive really to make them any better now. Old tech that they'd rather not be making any longer. After all, they produce their own LED tat, so I guess they'd rather you just started using that. The days of quality are LONG gone.
