Spot on getting those up and running again, far better than needlessly changing the lot to LED.

Nice work! What the hell was that contractor on about with 'completely shot', fittings like this are still nearly new, years of life left in them yet.

These are 2011 dated - if these had been fitted with Philips tubes then they would be laughing and still good now.

Good work saving these… back in our early LG days you’d be telling us how shit these are and a follow up pic of a skip full of them but nowadays it’s a privilege to even see these repaired

That's how it has become now, any fluorescent is appreciated! I think had we seen the utter crap that is about now back then these would have seemed a lot better.

I go back to kevs 2010/11 uploads and think it’s mad how much most of us hated T5 but now we think it needs saving lol

Exactly lol, I used to hate T5 and was never interested in owning any of them or the fittings, now I've got several and quite like them!

I like them too specially the longer 35/49/80W and the 14w they’re my favourites

I do like the 49W as they are nice and bright, the 35W's seem a little weak though are alight in twins. Main ones I have are 28W as most of the fittings I saved from LED rip outs were all 28W so they just came to me. 14W are nice as you can SS them too!
