The ESLA at night
Here is the ESLA lit up at night. I've forgotten how effective tungstens are, this 60W lit up my garden effectively with the help of the mirrors in the lantern, with a decent spread as well.

Early optical systems were primitive, but clever at the same time Cool, sadly this method of street lighting was way before my time, but I would have liked to experience it!

Way before mine too, It must have been great seeing all the mirrors shining along the road

Awesome, there is something very charming about old lanterns like this, you could just imagine them gently lighting an old country road in a village back in the 30's with the soft GLS glow Cool
