Osram 150w HQI-TS Powerstar (New version)
Close-up photograph of the arcstream.
It's an interesting shape, no doubt in order to try and get the most consistent arc tube temperature.
No exhaust tip either.

I've two Osram HQI-TS 70W/WDL and one Osram HQI-TS 70W/D.
I think that the older versions of the /WDL were better, as they had tin in additional to the thallium and sodium.
The current version have the tin replaced by rare-earths, and rare-earths have much lower pressure than tin, and are less interesting me.
The current version also don't have radioactive elements, so there is a corona wire around the arctube that cause a glow discharge in the argon filling in the outerbulb, when the lamp igniting, producing UV radiation so to start the arctube.
