Look how empty those streets are Surprised now a day those streets would be rammed with cars parked everywhere Mad looks like a big lift there for such a small col lol

Yeah, you mostly see the droplift type today, (like Davys), but these were all they used round here in the 70s/80s, CBC had one of these, and a Ford D-serise, both a similar size.

classic, trouble with booms like this, if you slew accross at low level like a small lamp post your running risk of getting twatted by a passing bus !!! hence you dont see lifts of this type today, love the the total lack of high vis and cones and signs lol his

I remember CBC having two of these Bedford TKs back in the late 70s, one had a slightly shorter lift on the back, this was the one you'd see the most as it was ideal for the estates, there were always two guys on it though, I doubt they’d led you use one of these on your own now?, saying that, this could have been two street lighting guys with one taking the photo?
