Making a 14w led torch
This is a test of a ballast I'm making for driving an led. This works just like my fluorescent inverters except the transformer only outputs 30v at most. A bridge rectifier and capacitor on the output are the only extra components relative to a fluorescent inverter.

More reliable than a Chinese driver! Cool

Oh yes should last at least as long as the led itself especially since theres no high voltages around to kill the transistors unexpectedly.
