View from the side of the alpha 1 with the ccfl inside it
The reason I did this is because 90W sox lamps are fast becoming collectable and cant justify using one up. Also this ccfl version is much lower power (10-20w) which would allow me to use this alpha 1 in the garden providing a nice level of illumination without flooding it with light and spinning the meter.
