Finally got permission to install this on dads shed unfortunately it had to be on a pir so it has a 4000k frosted led fillament lamp in so it still looks like it runs mbf. The pir was in manual override for this pic.

I once saw some pole mounted ones like this, fully restored and painted in a village near Warwick

Still something you occasionally see pole mounted out in the sticks, but even those seem to be vanishing slowly.

nice to see, and using a bit off sliced off electric pole to create a flat plinth to mount the pole bracket on too , done that before lol

genrally speaking these went off the public highways in the mid 1980's on the whole, only remenants remain and mostly parish council owned lamps if like this still about
