Could do but it wont work right because i dont have krypton gas (yet) so itll be straight argon, should be ok but i dont know

This is awesome. Have you figured what was causing the contamination-like EOL in your previous lamps ?

Insufficient vacuum quality and no method to heat it well to remove moisture from the glass, I now use an argon helium blend at high pressure to get the tube very hot at low current due to the high voltage drop. The contaminent that caused the failure was water
