Great to see a school classroom still hanging onto 8 footer fluorescents - that school must be sensible enough not to go down the LED route

 I guess replacement diffusers are impossible to find now?

Looks proper. The diffusers may not be made nowadays, but assuming they are just folded prismatic PMMA sheet they may be custom made if needed

Na just modern Sylvania tubes the led goons are litterly harassing this school it’s insane they have even gone as low as to offer them FREE led fittings now. It’s getting hard to fight them off.

Just give those LED goons a taste of your shoe and keep these 8 footers going - nothing beats them for classroom lighting - my first secondary school I went to had 8 footer fluorescents in the maths room
