Fluorescent bathroom installation
This is part of my bathroom installation. This is a terrace house that was built 1911 with no bathroom, one of the bedrooms has a some stage been converted to a bathroom, so it is quite large. I gave it a refurb this year. Of course part of this was the lighting, I wanted concealed fluorescent uplighters. These lights use a dimmable ballast, the wooden box is lined with alluminium carpet plates for fire protection. It's a work in progress, the holes in the ceiling need filling. It's not possible to enter the part loft above this part of the house, you can see into it from the main loft but there is a joist that prevents access, so I had to pull the cabling through by making strategic holes. Tubes are Philips Poland Warm white

That looks really well, I have never thought about uplighting being used in a bathroom before? Cool

Very nice installation, I'd love to do something like this one day. Most people would use LED tape for this sort of thing now, but triphosphor T8 and T5 tubes are perfect for it, especially with dimmable ballasts like this!
