Ballast tower meal.
Looks a lot better than those things that I cobbled together years ago with leads hanging out and flapping in the breeze.
Bit bulkier though, as you can see!

Top to bottom, left to right:
50/80w MBF
50/70w SON/MH
100/150w SON/MH
175w US MBF/MH
400w MBF/MH
250w MBF/MH
400w SON
250w SON

At least you can build a custom shelf now to keep them on?, on a side note I’ve given up on the whiskey now, since I discovered Kraken Black Spiced Rum! Rolling Eyes

Very cool! I like the 80's look to them with the blue box with Beige trim Smile now you need to build a power distribution board for them to connect to, so you can connect them in parallel if needed for running odd ball lamps, or having a bit of fun with an EOL lamp! Smile

I've got the 1000w SON gear box to torture EOL lamps on heh. These enclosures are pretty cheap and nasty if I'm honest but I chose them just for that 70's/80's lab kit look Smile
That stuff is not bad but I prefer the likes of Ardbeg Corryvreckan. I've yet to try that Kraken, in fact spiced rum in general. My rum of choice is Pussers Gunpowder Proof Smile

I really like the look of these blue boxes, they don't look cheap and nasty from the photos.
FrontSideBus   [15 Feb, 2022 at 08:15 PM]
Well I wouldn't really recommend them anyway tbh lol. Made from quite thin steel and the panels use self tappers which will probably chew up after you've opened and closed them a few times.
At least that means they are easy to work on... I've just given my drill a real hot supper drilling holes in a proper industrial IP66 enclosure for the CSI gear!

Very well built. Some time gone into these
FrontSideBus   [06 Feb, 2024 at 10:48 AM]
Hmmm. Seem to be having issues replacing files?
Danny   [06 Feb, 2024 at 11:05 AM]
Yeah it takes time. No idea why but it will eventually replace in the next few hours
FrontSideBus   [06 Feb, 2024 at 11:09 AM]
Ah ok then. Not just my PC skezzing out then Laughing

Nah its definitely the site. It doesn't look to have changed in the thumbnail but has it changed in the photo?
FrontSideBus   [06 Feb, 2024 at 02:53 PM]
Only if I click on it to open it in a pop out window.
Danny   [06 Feb, 2024 at 06:45 PM]
Yeah its swapped for me now. Is it the same for you?
Beta 5   [06 Feb, 2024 at 07:31 PM]
Nice work, looks really neat and there's plenty of lamps you can run up with that lot Smile

Cool now this is a good idea. Especially now mag gear seems to be getting pretty rare these days Mad
