This was quite bright... and warm!

Decided I wanted to fire up a 1000w SON-E (top), a 1000w HQI-E (middle) and a 1000w HQL (bottom) at the same time!
Photo shown a few seconds after firing them up and the combined gearsets were making some nice noises and pulling a few amps from the mains!

Blimey bet you got a suntan? Ive been sat near to this Ukranian one the last half an hour, i am 4ft away from it and can feel the heat on the side of my arm, i did a video once of Liam lighting a Fag from the heat of a 600w SON T! So i can imagine the heat these three kicked out

This is a great photo! I really like the quite distinct different colours from these 3 lamps. Not sure I recall seeing a 1000W HQI-E lamp for sale anywhere, they are normally tubular in this high wattage.

Not as much heat as a 5kW halogen though lol. If you want a suntan I have just the thing heh...

Keep in mind that the 365nm UV line from MV and MH lamps can heat your skin as well, as I've discovered with my Aliexpress 365nm LED flashlight. This is also the reasons why my Philips ML 160W and my Osram HWL 160W in my room at my father home, heating me.
