21w LEDVANCE (Osram) 50w SON-T Retrofit 1 x 21w LED filament lamp which is designed to replace 1 x 50w high-pressure sodium lamp. Can be used on straight mains or with existing ballast as long as any ignitor or PFC capacitor is removed. While 4000lm is quite impressive, it is slightly less than modern HO 50w SON-T lamps and they are rated for a much higher lifespan, but of course these use less energy. The light quality of this is decent, on par with quartz metal halide but nowhere near as good as the modern ceramic types. These are far better than any massive COB lamp!

One of the only LED retrofits I can safely say I can support. Pembrokeshire retrofitted all their heritage lanterns to the Philips Trueforce, and the light spread and output is phenomenal. I just wish these were made 10 years ago.

10-15 years ago i wish we had these too. I want to get hold of this type of osram version (this is the first osram version i have ever seen) and the Philips ones, that ive seen about

The Philips ones (Like their MBF retrofits) are too long tbh. These Osrams are a more sensible length IMO.
