Thorn 50w Pearlescent SON-E 1 x Thorn EMI SON-E lamp with a pearlescent outer envelope. Although these are quite interesting lamps and the pearl finish does transmit more light than the traditional finish I must admit I prefer the standard coated finish as it does a much better job of diffusing the light. 3500lm 1940k @ 35%

The Thorn pearl SON lamps are beautiful. A pity they are so rare these days.
