Phosco FL500
Quite a few Phosco FL500 SON-T floodlights mounted on a high mast.
One of about 8 illuminating the Gladstone locks at the Port of Liverpool.

Burning SON-T lamps. Not sure what wattage but the lanterns are available in anything from 100-600w SON-T. 250-400w MBI-T and 1000w MHNLA.

That would be fun to do bulk clean / change on! That lantern carriage assembly will weigh an absolute ton, and take about 20 mins to lower to the ground

Do you reckon they hand crank it or have a special motorised tool?

They have a motor tool, but they haver to hand crank the first 10 or so turns at the start before lowering and at the end after raising. But even with the tool it takes an age. You'd be there for 45 mins to an hour if you were hand cranking. The winch and cables stay in the base of the mast, it's just the tool they carry around
