I have some of these on my decking in my new umbrella. Just keep them away from flammable material!

This is a bit bright, are the gold lamps any better for glare or is it that im using the cheapest ruby halogen i could find?

The gold lamps are not cheap though, I had to get 3 for the mobile paint heaters/driers for our paint shop, the 2KW ones are circa £25 each!, they are slightly less bright though.

The proper Philips / Dr Fischer ones I'm sure were up £70 odd!
