I can't deny digital music is really convenient especially when on the move such as in the car, but I do like the older Hifi for my favorite music. The oldest part of mine is an early 70s tuner with a lovely backlit green tuning scale similar to yours. The rest of mine is early 90s, before the age of MP3 players. That is a nice setup you have there.

I've recently rediscovered the awesomeness of old cassette tapes. Dusted off my old Yamaha tape deck and my old tapes still sound every bit as good as CD's 20 years on It is going into a modern Onkyo amp & Tannoy speakers though...

Sure you can have too much HiFi stuff... thats when its just sitting on a shelf not being used .lol.

Philistine! You just can't beat the sound of analogue audio...even 24bit 192khz. Digital is really convenient I'll admit, and I have digitised my entire collection, but I still prefer the old ways...

I much prefer modern audio equipment to old stuff (and its gotta have surround-sound!) Most of the time I still listen to CD's over anything else...but I do have the computer connected to my system so I can play MP3 or whatever on it too (which also means I can listen in other rooms of the house, and the backyard too)
