Davis Golden Ray 501 One of the last GR501s left on Simpson Road. There were four in total, of which i assume were replacements of their time of concrete columns and flouescent lanterns. The other three GR501s have been replaced in the last 4 years, two due to failed lamps, one of which i saved along with a GR551, and Philips MI80GO lantern, from Simpson Road, and one GR501 replaced due to dayburning. This part of Simpson Road is still lit by other SOX lanterns, one Philips MI36, five GEC Z9536s, and 8 Thorn Beta 2s. The bracket arm supporting the above GR501 would be great to save into a collection!

Yeah unsure when this happened, but on its last relamp they just relamped it in the state it is in. At my old work place they had spare bowls for these!

Some were actually used and i kept the last two as one is NOS. I do have five spare bowls for these and four canpoies without bowls. If i get my hands on this one i will be able give it a new bowl

I don't suppose you have a spare GR150 bowl that I could buy? Cool

Sadly no spare bowls for the GR150. It is funny that i look back and didnt save more bowls for lanterns. Only in recent years i'm saving lots of bowls espically the MK globes, as once they are gone, they are gone. I saved a MA60 bowl couple years back just for the sake of it. Walk into David Guys shed, and see his has a broken bowl and at a Kev meet gave David the bowl!

Haha yeah lucky they didn't catch the clip or would of lost its bowl
