LED Filament A60 Coloured
|
Following the recent comments about LED Filament coloured lamps (usually based on standard 2700K warm white filaments with coloured bulbs), here is a photo from my lab at work of an alternative design - using clear bulbs and coloured LED filaments. Aside from the green which has green chips on the LED filaments and the UV blacklight at far right which has approx 400nm LED chips, all the others have royal blue 450nm chips and different fluorescent phosphor coatings on the filaments. These deliver considerably brighter output for the same power consumption (or same light output with lower power consumption, and the colours are also rather more saturated. Since the glare is quite intense, they may only be marketed in satin white bulbs, which give a more similar lighted appearance to ordinary coloured GLS.

Any thoughts about those BELL coloured filament lamps that CP Lighting sell?
