StreetLight #326
 New LED lighting at a bus hub/station that was re-done in 2017.
These are pretty cool looking to me...Atleast they tried to give them some style.
One of the guys on GOL said they may be Philips Lumec Leonis

In the background:
* The cobrahead is HPS/SON, and I believe an ITT 25
* You can also see some fluorescent lights on inside the building behind (that's the Denver Post newspaper)

Civic Center Station , Denver, CO

Certainly different in the styling Shocked , bet these are quite expensive, they probably come complete with the columns?

Interesting design certainly lol. I've been meaning to import a US cobrahead tbh, what do you reckon would be the definative "classic American" streetlight? GE?

The acorn post tops are the first thing that comes to my mind when thinking of the US Very Happy

@AngryHorse:
Yep, probably are quite expensive, and yeah I'd assume the columns & everything are sold as a set.

@FrontSideBus:
I'm not sure which one would qualify as the "classic American" cobrahead..
But something like a GE M-250R2 would be a good choice - very common to see in use, also fairly easy to find on eBay & such. If you can get ahold of a multi-voltage one, you might even be able to use the 277v tap & run on your 240v/50hz without changing out the ballast.

@AngryHorse:
Oh yes.. acorn post tops! I might have to get me one of those eventually too.

Edit:
There is something very wrong with the forum 'software' here .. keeps deleting part of my comment when I try to post Shocked Laughing

Yes, the US acorn lanterns is as immediately recognisable to me as the US flag Very Happy , it’s stunning design and shape is a credit to its designer😎, and who was it that did design it?
XmasLightGuy   [11 Feb, 2019 at 12:50 AM]
@AngryHorse: I have no idea who was the original designer. Tried googling it, but saw nothing, though its hard to weed out all the meeningless crap Laughing info is probably out there!
