StreetLight #338 - Schreder Alura
 Fairly cool looking light to me (I also like the pole). Different versions of these exist, but HPS/SON were common, so these might be that.

Interesting, with the cone reflector at the top half of the canopy, would also suggest it could be LED?

@AngryHorse: I was originally thinking LED when I saw them too, but when I posted on one of the other sites, someone there who knew what brand/model they were said they'd be HPS/SON or MH. If it were LED, instead of the reflector you see, there'd be a LED module in that spot.

I do like reflector lanterns like these. I’d love a Thorn Johanna for my back patio lol. Hundreds of them around where I work in Speke.

Not the most efficient way of using light though, our town centre has post tops using the same system, but they run some form of compact halide lamp, (hidden in its base), to throw light upwards to then bounce of the reflecting cone, trouble is though, their quite dim! and don’t light the surrounding area that well Confused

@FrontSideBus:
I like reflector lanterns like this too because they look cool. I'll have to look up a pic of a Thorn Johanna to see it.

@AngryHorse
Yeah, not real efficient, but they do look cool. These are on a walkway, so don't need to be real bright. (I have no idea what it looks like at night since I've seen is during the day)
