From A Storm On June 6th.. On the 6th of June we got a pretty good storm through here, short lived but certainly packed some powerful winds! 70-80mph gusts! This streetlight was one of the casualties. I was shocked when I saw the lamp was unbroken & on!

Oops..... I guess they'll replace that with something nasty and LED....

@Slyspark: Actually the last one that got damaged was replaced (this past winter) with SON of the same type! If it was on a main road rather than a neighborhood, then yep it'd be LED..

Nope, those streets are lined with houses, too much chance of someone seeing me .lol. (the thought of the whole top would be nice to have - for lamp and ballast)

Yep. I'll have to drive by it sometime just to see, not too far from me. So far they're leaving all the neighborhoods in this area as SON, even replacing lamps when they EOL Smile
