StreetLight #277
Decorative-style parking-lot/walkway light. I guess you could say mushroom shaped? or maybe UFO shaped? .lol.
I'm assuming its probably MH, but could also be SON/HPS....its deff too new to be MV.

This is weird but I was thinking about that amphitheatre before I even read the description when I saw the rocks in the background! One of the places I’d love to visit, I bet you get a cracking view of the city in the distance from there! I’ve been playing Horizon: Zero dawn lol.
I’ve seen some night shots and it looks like they use SON to illuminate the cliff faces.

Fantastic photo Cool, that's a stunning backdrop!

@FrontSideBus:
At one point most of the lighting was SON, but there's some MH (and probably LED) now. I need to make a trip there sometime before winter, its not all that far from me.
You do get a good view of the city...I probably even have a pic, will have to look Smile
I've actually wondered if I can see my place from there during Christmas Season at night Laughing If I stand on the roof & its a clear day, I can see the red rocks sticking up...

@AngryHorse:
Thanks

Colorado and Wyoming ect are on my list of places to visit. Some cracking scenery there. Would love to ride my motorbike up Pike's peak!

Yep... Colorado & Wyoming (really all along the mountains I guess Laughing ) there's some great scenery.

Motorbike would probably be a good way to go up Pike's peak.
I kinda remember that when I was young my family took the car up there.
