Osram GEC 1000W 240V MBF/U mercury vapour lamp
after seeing Andy's 400V 3 Phase example I decided to have a look ebay to see if I could find any as I did not have any 400V/H36 lamps in the collection

while sadly I could not find any, I did find this lovely 240V example and I just could not resist :)

it compliments my Thorn 240V 1000W mercury lamp nicely :)

I have posted a link to the ebay listing I got this from on the ebay forum sub section, incase anyone else wants one as the seller does have a couple more left Smile

Lovely lamp! Did the seller just send it in the original box or was it sent within an outer shipping box?

sadly it was sent in just its original box, despite me asking the seller to package it well with lots of bubble wrap, there was some paper stuffing inside the orignial box im not sure if it was added by the seller or not, but I dont think it offered much protection sadly, but thankfully the lamp arrived intact as you can see!

Some sellers amaze me. They really do. to send a lamp like this how you describe they must be plain stupid

Glad it arrived intact then, I suspected that was how the seller shipped it as I bought a lamp from him some time ago and was amazed it wasn't smashed when I saw what a shitty job he did with packing it.
