I live in southern Part of Texas it rarely get below freezing here. last time it gotten down to OF in San Antonio was 1985 it was that year to have a 13 inch blizzard. any time when get around single digit will throw some tubes outside see how it do. I know Alight from LG had 9 watt PL in -25 it would act EOL.

Interesting etch. Probably one of those overpriced oddball brands.

@AngryHorse: I was basically at the back end of that storm .. we got around 6-7 inches of snow, and temp got down to 5F/-15C one night...so wasn't all that bad here (storm is long gone noe, its sunny & they say gonna be in the upper 50's today)
