Very nice find. Soon you’ll have the only security light in America with a CRI of six.

Lovely old medium pressure lamp! Looks a bit more fragile than the GE version.

Yes i was very nervous as it got sent though worse Shipping company ever. I was very livid what seller put me though. They would almost about to send it to the wrong house 20 miles away from here. Cause they cant locate my street by GPS! That ebay seller did not fallow my packing instruction pack them in a box but did not double boxed it and yet she ignore that i Paid for US postal service and got sent by FEDEX. I am glad some one had the time not to go send this though major oarcel sorting machine where they have bunch of parcels bashing and banging into each other. And yes u can get a heavy box throw thrown on top of your lamp though this sorting process! That why FedEX is hard on lamps All in all i did not sleep over this sunday-monday night when Fed-EX delivered my Slimeline F40T12 Westinghouse Naturals to the wrong house! And there shitty 1-800 Number that gives u the automated Run around. I had to Jump into my Truck drove 40 mile down to FEDEX depot in Garden Ridge a small Suburb just north of San Antonio. And show them where i live. Then all i got is there Direct phone number to call there local shipping office. Finally they delivered both parcels of lamps at same time after I explained to them where I am located and your GPS is useless.

Wow, this lamp has a wire construction of the supporting armature. In my purchase with several lamps only one lamp has the same. Others have a more stronger design.

Hello Funkybulb. A lamp in good condition. Could the reason for this construction made of wire have simply been a government-mandated material saving during the war? You wrote, that the lamp is from the 1940s. Is there an exact year?
Yes, i think from 1942.

Thanks for this information.
