Bad start to the day! :-S
The amazing pace-at choob transportation machine has had a major fault this morning, it lies mainly with the bit between the seat and the steering wheel. No injuries apart from my insurance renewal next year I assume!

Look like our Peugeot 406 after I stuffed a Fiesta one morning!, I was on the way B+Q to buy a lawnmower!, expensive lawnmower as it turned out!

Shit what happened? Looks repairable though!

Someone decided to stamp on their brakes in front of me for no reason. It's repairable, already stripped the broken bits off, no chassis damage, just need to find someone breaking one in the right colour.

Wasn`t one of them knobheads that does it to make a false claim was it?
fluorescent   [02 May, 2017 at 10:07 PM]
No, wasn't a 'crash for cash'

I thought if the insurance were involved that'd be written off

Fix before insurance get a sniff.. i did it when i stuffed my van into another van. Crashed it next day as good as new! (Less damage mind you)

Insurance were utterly useless. Kept me on the phone for ages, then it sounded like they were going to charge me for recovery but couldn't tell me for sure or how much it would cost *and* they would only take it to a garage where it would undoubtedly be written off!! Luckily I found out we have accident recovery with our AA membership, 5 minutes on the phone & half hour later me & the car were on our way home Cool

Insurance is never fun to deal with.

Finally got the inevitable today... Claiming for whiplash, shoulder pain, spinal injury(!?) and loss of earnings! FFS no wonder insurance is so expensive these days. This was a low speed collision, I had no injuries whatsoever & was obviously in the same f***ing crash!

Ugh what a prick. I think u should fight this one.
fluorescent   [05 Aug, 2017 at 01:35 PM]
Sadly I have no evidence. If I had CCTV or preferably dash camera footage, I'd probably fight it. As it stands, I drove into the back of someone so it's (by default) my fault. I think I'm just going to have to admit fault and let my insurance deal with it.

On the plus side, I did pay for protected no claims bonus which should ease the renewal price of my insurance later this year.

I nearly went in the back of another car a while ago. I was busy perving at a female jogger who was demonstrating the effect momentum has on mass.... stopped about an inch from the car in front!
HIDLamp   [06 Aug, 2017 at 12:39 AM]
I nearly went up the back of somebody once. Not sure how just there like 'oh they're slowing down. I don't need to brake there's a big enough gap. Nope still don't need to brake..... holy ffffitzy we're stopping completly. Left an inch or so before the car infront, surprised my pedal didn't dent the floor after they way I ended up punching.

The Pace-at is still going strong after I repaired it, but sadly is about to be traded in for something which doesn't have a list of issues longer than I can be bothered to fix! P.S. my Insurance premium roughly doubled after declaring the accident. Oh and Swiftcover insurance are fucking useless
