I'm thinking AEI? I've seen one like this still in use, so will go and have a look then get back to you.

Many thanks, would love to know what it is. Any stickers inside are long gone. I guess the original ballast may have given us a clue

I was in Ikea, Warrington on friday night, all the lighting in the warehouse downstairs were similar to these, but using 2, clear windowed LED tubes, (mounted kind of like the old Thorn PP twins), with the diodes pointing straight outwards and reflecting off an anodised curved plate exactly like the reflector on this. Got to say, they were VERY impressive though!, when you stood under the reflector, you couldn`t look at it without it blinding you!

Yeah I've seen them. They use to be some sort of twin HO T5 things, maybe 80w?

I`ll have to find who makes them?, they didn`t strike me as a conversion though?, there was no `batten body` so to speak, there was a little driver box on the top, kind of like the very early BC tube fittings that had a separate ballast box.
