GE Hungary 100w/35 (contamination survivor)

I'm currently trying to test & sort my collection of 8 footers, I've already had to bin a couple of unused West German Sylvania 125 watters that were badly contaminated. I then found this unused GE Hungary 100w/35 was contaminated too, luckily it turns out not too badly. After leaving it on a linked-out starter for about 10 minutes followed by a glow bottle, it struck up with minimal marking inside. Really not enjoying this contamination issue that affects fluorescent tubes!

I had this really bad earlier in the year. Try a NST NEON SIGN TRANSFORMER. That should clear them up

I should be, I've got the dates booked off work anyway. I've also got a mountain of stuff I want to bring to trade or sell

U should get American T12 HF slimeline ballast as those have 900 OCV. I have Revive my GEC 65/80 watt tube as it my only dual wattage tube in my collection.

This bastard showed signs of issues again when tested yesterday! Took quite a while and a good few blinks to strike it & then was veeery dim in the middle for a while. I'm going to put it into regular service in my bench light to give it a good run & keep a close eye on it before I put it away again.
