5ft Switch Start Crompack's Rescued
Got about 18 of these out the skip, all have done mega, mega hours! There's only five pictured here, but I managed to make 10 good ones in total, all with a trough reflector the same as you can see fitted to one here. Will be available for sale or trade at the next meet if anyone's interested.

Something that they haven't bent up ???
fluorescent   [17 Dec, 2017 at 04:57 PM]
lol, none of these were bent in half, some smashed lamp holders and dints/scratches from being thrown in the skip

At least they are actually repairable! Do these have the cover plates as well as the trough like my ekco Durham did?
fluorescent   [17 Dec, 2017 at 11:35 PM]
Yes Danny, they all have cover plates as well as throughs

Niiiiice these are quality

Yes, these are a real workhorse fitting. The switch-start were always better than the SRS versions of these as the SRS ballasts you still find in service are noisy as hell!

Yup I've got a few of the Crompton C432 'Quickstart' ballasts that were fitted to the starterless versions of these, and all of them are noisy
