Atlas Superslim 5ft (+garage junk)

Collected this today along with the twin 32+40w circular that can also be seen in the background amongst other junk.

My first Superslim and indeed first Atlas fixture, a 5ft 65w variant with gold BLI ballast. Works a treat, ballast is a little buzzy but not too bad. As is apparently common with these, the spine is a bit rusty but not bad at all, will be a relatively easy job to sand and paint it. It's also heavily nicotine stained.

Sadly though, the lazy twat that took it down could only be bothered to undo one of the cover screws and just bent it off!! I've straightened it out and it's not too bad and perfectly usable, but will never be perfect.

Had two of these in our old lean-to garage (asbestos roof lol) which were absolutely mint. Sadly they got skipped when it was demoshed about 15 years ago before I knew better about these things... Sad

I’m hoping to get the one from the old mill by Jon when I go down there but it’s missing its cover plate tube and starter. Otherwise it was spot on
