Haul 24-10-2018

It was a busy day saving this lot, safe to say I was aching afterwards!

All rescued (with permission) from my previous work place (a large steel plate rolling mill) which is sadly now being demolished after it officially closed about a year ago after being 'mothballed' for a further 2 years prior to that.



So what's there:



- 4x Simplex 5ft 80w grey side fittings, one quickstart and three switch start. Should be able to make three good fittings from these.


- 4x Benjamin Taskmaster 5ft 80w switch start twins with full troughs. Burnt up lamp holders on most of them sadly.


- Relite Versaline 3 5ft 65w SRS


- Several Simplex 5ft 65w fittings of different ages, some with pull to release lamp holders and some newer ones with twist lock tombstones. Some are SRS and some are Vivatronic start


- 5ft Atlas Atlantic 1


- 2x 8ft Atlas Atlantic 1. One for spares only & the other is in poor condition so unsure on that one


- 5ft 65w Atlas Atlantic 3 SRS


- Thorlux T5 35w or 49w twin weatherpack, a modern fitting, but a modern classic. It has an alloy base, a prismatic diffuser and reflectors on the gear tray. A top quality fitting this one.


- Miscellaneous tubes, most dead, lighting maintenance was very poor!
