Sometimes you have to wonder what the story is...

This arrangement popped up a few years ago near to my house when they were replacing all the columns and lanterns for LED ones. I figured the old column was staying there until they had been able to move the supply over to the new one.

Now we are at least two or three years on and it's still there. I have tried to find out from the council if there's an issue or if they have just forgotten it, but as is standard practice for Milton Keynes Council my enquiries have been completely ignored. I must have tried a dozen times to contact them about various things now, I've never had a single response.
