Lovely lineup of 160W Philips self ballasted lamps Olav! Does the lamp in the middle have phosphor or is it just diffused/frosted?

Awesome lineup! I love the clear one espically Smile @SilverRay IIRC the arc tube power of a 160W SBMV lamp is about 50W-650W, I know for a fact in a 100W lamp its only about 30W! it makes that lamp the smallest commercially produced high pressure mercury lamp arc tube I think! European 100W 160W 250W 500W SBMV lamps always have a greater portion of the lamp power dissipated in the filament then the arc tube (but US and some Asian lamps ie of the 450W sort often have a greater power dissipation in the arc tube then the filament)

Thanks for all the comments. Dez has already answered Roman's question in detail. I didn't buy any of the three lamps in Germany, they are actually hard to find here. My personal impression is that mixed light lamps were much more common in some countries than in Germany. This impression only results from the offers on websites for the sale of private items.

Self-ballasted mercury lamps were very popular here in Israel, during the beginning of the 2000.

Oh Awesome! its very rare you find technical details like, details which list the electrical specifications of the arc tube and filament individually like that Smile
