Quite interesting how the imperfections or "flow" of the glass has distorted the light from the camera flash.

I guess it was a sample for testing so the quality of glass was not a meaningful

I like this shape of lamp. I'm guessing the is for use in cap up position due to the heat reflecting material only on the top part of the arc tube.
