So the same thing happens there too as in the UK?, you order something and something the exact opposite arrives!, I’ve just had a similar thing happen.

Nope. The halides makes this appearance of the arctube. Once the lamp has been stabilized, the arctube is completely clear.

Perhaps someone installed the NDL and didn't like it so swapped it for the WDL that was in the packet?
