Well proportioned certainly, and very dood with the opal diffuser. but put it next to ther post tops, it looks a bit squashed, being shorter and fatter than the others

Yes I guess that's why I like them so much, something a little different to all the other post tops! I guess they are not too big either, some most tops are really quite massive for what they are!

Only problem with SOX in a post top, as they couldn’t be mounted cap down, a quarter of the lamp was hidden from ground level

Yes at night I've often seen a dark ring around the column where the base blocks the light
|

|
In a quick glance the grid fence in the bakground does look like the facade of a building in the distance, which would be period-correct for the lantern
|
