80+ year old NOS parts.
I contacted William Sugg & Co to see if they could help me with a few bits and bobs but while for economical reasons, they don't make stuff anymore for the old stuff, Chris Sugg had a rummage and located a bowl and a new windguard c/w tripod heatplate that has been in storage for god knows how long!
This was the main worry as one of the legs had broken off the tripod and the windguard was quite badly crushed and cracked.
He even supplied me with new gas burners and has given me details where I can source a new pilot light jet from a company in Italy.

Nice when companies help you out like this. Try getting spares out of the likes of Thorn, etc these days....

He's even sent me copies of the original drawings. Well not the original drawings as during the war the factory was bombed and they were all destroyed. Luckily, they had a very good draughtsman who managed to re-draw most of them from all the various parts they had lying about.

That's great cooperation on his part. I admire

What a great company! Not many of those exist these days.
