At first I was wondering if that was a genuine thorn ballast but at second look it is atlas made! Cool they crammed this in there, what's the date on the other side of the cap mark 1998 at a guess?

These are a tiny ballast for their wattage, ideal for these situations.

It's good that they went to the effort of designing proper control gear for the Arcstream lamp when they could have just used regular SON gear!
