PAR can
Generic PAR can for 1x PAR64 lamp.
Currently fitted with a 1000w CP60 lamp.
This thing gets smoking hot and I’d forgotten just how intense the heat in the beam in from these lamps.... anything within a few meters in front of the beam is at risk of catching fire lol...
Might have to get some coloured gels...

Used to get to play with TONS of these back when I did theatre lighting! Yes, they get bloody hot!

Still see these in use and when you see loads of them, one thinks that there must be a very beefy dimmer rack somewhere lol.

I used to use 8 of these (4 either side of the front of the stage) when I was in a band & power supply permitting another 8 at the back of the stage.

Tempted to get a cheapy DMX LED moving head disco light with the gobo wheels ect to play with...
Gonna fire this out the window and see how far it goes later lol. Not expecting it to match the mighty 1kw CSI PAR64 lol.

I have a PAR64 can and a destroyed lamp (found it in mud in the place of nowhere, the seals corroded all the way to inside the lamp so there is no vacuum). Will try to drill the back of the lamp to use the lamp body as a reflector for some G12 MH..

You used to be able to get reflector adapters for these that allowed the use of capsule lamps.
