PL-S bedside lamp.
A few months ago I spent a week in Berlin. I stayed in an Ibis near the Ostbahnhof railway station.
They had one of these either side of the bed.
The switch at the bottom allows you to select one lamp only or both for maximum output.
Took a while uploading as I’d forgotten about it and only remembered when looking through the photos on the iPad lol.

When I turned it on I was greeted by the “pink, pink, pink... ping” of a fluorescent starter and was surprised to find this when I had a look.
