Most Likely! But why just change a lamp when you can blag the customer into buying a "better" LED fitting because they are "so much better and you can't get the lamps"...

purpose built LED does sucks and always will. if they ever come out with Filament led Hid shape lamps. then it may be a suitable replacement incandescent or MV with ballast disconnected.
