Thorn GVV LG 16/21-58 Vivatronic starter.

Thorn Vivatronic starters for 16-38w 2D, 36w 2L and 30-65w T8/T12 lamps.
These give a slightly longer and less "energetic" preheat than the older G69577 units that I was using before. there is much less noise from the ballast and it sounds a lot softer.

Something i've always wondered is how well would these cope with dead tubes left on them? I know Pulse starters tend to get quite hot after a good few hours.

Well on my EFS600 vs ST111 experiment, when the lamp on the glowstart died I put it on the pulsestarter to see what would happen and it just gave up trying to start it after about 5 second.

I think these just cut out EOL tubes. Not really much to these is there,
