this amazing old relic was found completly intact, has silvered reeded glass side mirror reflectors, theres a tapping on the arc delfector for 250 or 400 watt lamps
now that is a absoloutely amazing find!!

First lantern I've ever seen with intact arc deflector!

Incredible find! Complete with Osram GEC lamp too. I hope both lamp and deflector work fine.

That has lasted well, amazing the glass reflectors have survived intact

That's quite something!

yes it was so clean inside, you'd have thought it had been in every day use, yet i recon this has not worked since about 1980. Just goes to show how good an asbestos gasket really was

Now that is what you call a find, in an astonishing condition too. Absolutely amazing save there. This'll clean up absolutely amazingly well.

It would be interesting how the arc in the lamp would look like with the magnetic deflector.
