Various MBT lamps
I have 4 of the Philips 500s, (the other 2 are buried in another box somewhere)!, the purl one is a 1951 Philips MBT/U, my oldest lamp, and a standard 160watt Osram.

Noooo I'm too scared think they are 220V?

210, but I run mine by slowly turning up a dimmer switch to about 205 volts.

I need to get a variac sometime really due to all the renewable energy being produced in Cornwall I've noticed my line voltage go steadily up! I'm running on 250V on the nose at the minute. The renewable became a problem last month on a Saturday when that much was being produced in Cornwall that it actually back fed the 132Kv line and ended up back feeding Hinckley point causing a major shut down lol
