Rubber gloves, bag it, bin it (sorry recycle it carefully Wink ) then clean the fitting with solvent. Sorted

This one has only leaked slightly luckily, and has been confined completely to inside the ballast

Am Rad makes decent caps in metal cans. Ive been getting my spare caps from Junk Air conditioning units

Yes, not nice stuff this. Gloves are ESSENTIAL, this is not something you want on your skin. It's highly carcinogenic and easily absorbed through the skin. As with most shit, baby wipes did a superb job of removing the residue from my BC fitting which had done the same.

I have found that petrol is good for removing PCB residues. Stinky but does the job.
