Crompton C422 65w SRS Ballasts - BLI Manufactured? (Dead)

These appear to be BLI made? Sadly both are dead. Comparing resistance readings with some working SRS ballasts, there is no continuity between terminals 1 & 2 on either of these.

Strange these would both go!

Both of these and the one that's already been replaced at some point in the past. I'm gonna try to open these up, I wonder if there's thermal fuses inside or something? They've not gone into meltdown or anything

If you still have those I reckon they'd be worth having their bases removed to see if the innards can be accessed. They seem to have internal suppressors fitted, which like to fail short circuit, and internal fuses in series with Live in (does it say 1A?).

They went in the bin. I did try to open them up but they looked quite bad inside, evidence of burning and didn't see any obvious fuses
