Tunnel Fully Lit With Holophane Widerlite 80w Bulkheads Here you see a cable tunnel at my work that's fully lit with Holophane Widerlite 80w MBFU bulkheads. There is about 40 fixtures in total & they're lit 24/7, and have been for many years, probably as long as they've been installed as there is no switch for them, the only way to switch them off is to pull the supply fuse! They're poorly maintained, only about 40% of them are lit, and the ones that are lit are very dim and greened out as you can see. It's very interesting walking through here! I did notice one was completely disconnected, opening it up revealed it had all it's internals removed sadly. I might still get it one day as I have a ballast and lamp holder for one of these.

It's not up to me to do & we don't stock 80w MBFU lamps in our stores anymore, shit loads got chucked away in fact! I could report it, but more than likely they'll either; ignore it (as no-one goes down here), ask what I was doing down there, incorrectly fit 70w SON lamps, or rip it all out for an LED 'upgrade'
