@Slyspark: What years was it when you remember these being on sale? yes it does have that classic halogen floodlight design @Angryhorse: This one hasn't got the PIR sensor so you'll have to get a separate one that is wired in series but yeah these halogen floodlights were popular/fashionable during like the 80s up till LED takeover

Those would be my mid childhood - I am only a few years older than you F96, my early childhood were still the leftovers from the 80s (the more boxy finned ones and the shovel shaped ones)
